Violin by Peter Boardman, Donaghadee 2021
This instrument is a fully antiqued copy of a violin by Thomas Perry of Dublin c.1780. The back and ribs are made from local County Down sycamore.
This instrument is one of many copies that Peter has made following a detailed interest in the life and work of Thomas Perry of Dublin (1738-1818). Perry is often referred to as "The Irish Stradivari".
Peter employs sophisticated ageing techniques when making these copies, so the instruments look and feel like originals.
All instruments are available for trials. They are available for shipping overseas.
