Violin by Peter Boardman, Donaghadee 2021 - SOLD
This instrument is a fully antiqued copy of a violin by Thomas Perry of Dublin c.1780. The back and ribs are from local County Down sycamore.
This instrument is one of many copies that Peter has made following a detailed interest in the life and work of Thomas Perry of Dublin (1738-1818). Perry is often referred to as "The Irish Stradivari".
Peter employs sophisticated ageing techniques when making these copies, so the instruments look and feel like originals.
