Violin by Rory Boardman, Donaghadee 2022
This instrument is based on the work of Thomas Perry. It has a two piece back of medium flame maple. The front is two pieces of medium grain spruce. The varnish is brown in colour and the instrument is partially antiqued.
It has a vibrant character whilst being responsive and easy to manage. It plays like a Perry, with a warm and effortless sound that fills the room.
It would be ideal for orchestral, solo and folk playing.
Length of back: 352mm
Width: 167mm & 206mm
