Violin by Rory Boardman, Donaghadee 2024
This instrument is based on the Stradivarius "Betts" violin. It has a two-piece back of delicately flamed maple. The front is two pieces of medium grain spruce. The varnish is light-brown in colour and the instrument is not antiqued.
This violin has a very even, open and bright sound which has been noted by all that have played it so far.
